Today Israel celebrates 76 years as a Jewish nation-state in modern times

The Jewish nation-state of Israel fulfilled this prophecy of Isaiah 76 years ago today.

"6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompense to his enemies. 7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. 8 Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once?  for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. 9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? said the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? said your God. 10 Rejoice you with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her" (AKJ, Isaiah 66:6-10)

 Just as those who loved the Jewish people on May 14, 1948 rejoiced and then mourned with her during the First Arab-Israeli War; again we rejoice and mourn with the people of Israel.  Hamas has not ceased firing rockets into southern Israel since October 7th, 2023.  Hezbollah continues to fire rockets into northern Israel.  The rockets were paid for by Iran, who sent their own barrage on April 13, 2024.

Hamas still holds hostages, including 5 Americans, and yet my American government is denying ammunition for Israel to take out the last Hamas brigades and free the hostages.  I'm ashamed and outraged.  Billions of US taxpayer dollars and ammunition have been sent to Ukraine where no American lives are in danger.

I am praying for Almighty God to intervene, and so are millions of Christians and Jews in America.

Moses' blessing upon the children of Israel/Jacob before he died ends as follows:

"27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them. 28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be on a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew. 29 Happy are you, O Israel: who is like to you, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help, and who is the sword of your excellency! and your enemies shall be found liars to you; and you shall tread on their high places." (AKJ, Deuteronomy 33:27-29)

Psalm 83 moon worshippers: Zebah and Zalmunna

Israel has been attacked by Iran's proxies for decades, launching small rockets and kidnapping individuals.  But on October 7, 2023 Hamas (in the land of Philistia, now the Gaza Strip) slaughtered hundreds of civilians and took hundreds of hostages.  Hezbollah (in Lebanon, where the city of Tyre is located) increased its rocket barrage in the north. Note verse seven.

"Keep not you silence, O God: hold not your peace, and be not still, O God. 2 For, see, your enemies make a tumult: and they that hate you have lifted up the head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted against your hidden ones. 4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against you: 6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assur [Assyria] also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. Selah."

"9 Do to them as to the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:" 

"11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yes, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: 12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession."

On April 1, 2024 Israel's airstrike on Iran's embassy in Damascus, Syria killed two Iranian generals much like Gideon killed the Midianite leaders Oreb and Zeeb (Judges 7:24-25).

"11 And Gideon went up by the way of them that dwelled in tents on the east of Nobah and Jogbehah, and smote the host; for the host was secure. 12 And when Zebah and Zalmunna fled, he pursued after them, and took the two kings of Midian, Zebah and Zalmunna, and discomfited all the host.. . . And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments [crescents] that were on their camels' necks." (Judges 8:11-12, 21b)

Many of the tribes in the ancient Middle East worshipped the moon and stars.  The hundreds of idols they made of them were housed in the Kaaba in Mecca.  Muhammed discarded most of them and added the black stone (now encased in a silver frame on the east side).  Muhammed's revelation from the djin (demon) in the cave was to forcibly unite the tribes under one god so they would stop fighting each other and fight together to gain territory, wealth, and women. 

On April 12, 2024 Iran bombed Israel using drones in retaliation for the deaths of the two generals. Israel now has every right to completely destroy all military installations in Iran.

Though many Muslims will die during this war they started, it is God's heart that they recognize the one, true LORD [YHVH].

"15 So persecute them with your tempest, and make them afraid with your storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek your name, O LORD. 17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yes, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18 That men may know that you, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth."
