On April 1, 2024 Israel's airstrike on Iran's embassy in Damascus, Syria killed two Iranian generals much like Gideon killed the Midianite leaders Oreb and Zeeb (Judges 7:24-25).
"11 And Gideon went up by the way of them that dwelled in tents on the east of Nobah and Jogbehah, and smote the host; for the host was secure. 12 And when Zebah and Zalmunna fled, he pursued after them, and took the two kings of Midian, Zebah and Zalmunna, and discomfited all the host.. . . And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments [crescents] that were on their camels' necks." (Judges 8:11-12, 21b)
Many of the tribes in the ancient Middle East worshipped the moon and stars. The hundreds of idols they made of them were housed in the Kaaba in Mecca. Muhammed discarded most of them and added the black stone (now encased in a silver frame on the east side). Muhammed's revelation from the djin (demon) in the cave was to forcibly unite the tribes under one god so they would stop fighting each other and fight together to gain territory, wealth, and women.
On April 12, 2024 Iran bombed Israel using drones in retaliation for the deaths of the two generals. Israel now has every right to completely destroy all military installations in Iran.
Though many Muslims will die during this war they started, it is God's heart that they recognize the one, true LORD [YHVH].
"15 So persecute them with your tempest, and make them afraid with your storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek your name, O LORD. 17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yes, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18 That men may know that you, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth."
